Inspired by the joy of sipping a cocktail (or two) while applying your make-up, Pretty Lit Cosmetics was created to bring a touch of fun and sophistication to your beauty routine. 

With a lifelong passion for all things beauty, Mairin McCarthey founded Pretty Lit Cosmetics to help people feel their most confident and empowered. Mairin has numerous years of formal training and extensive experience in various sectors of the beauty industry.

Mairin completed the Multimedia Make-Up Artistry Program at Make-Up Designory in 2016. This included training in beauty, fashion, film, television, and special effects makeup. In 2021, Mairin wanted to delve deeper into the world of beauty and attended Aveda Institute to obtain her esthetics license. She has since gotten certified in eyebrow laminations, eyelash lifts, eyelash extensions, and microblading.
